Foundations of Sustainable Development and its Components:
Sustainable development depends on achieving 3 basic components as follows: environment, society, and governance. Each component is a fundamental human right.
Environment:
Preserving the environment by relying on technology in carrying out internal transactions and providing services electronically to the beneficiary wherever they are.
Society:
Working on social business development is a major goal for the Authority of People with
Disability. APD’s plans and future strategies are based on the full and well-studied
transformation of its business models and units in order to be a reference in social development.
Since APD is responsible for people with disability, its plans focus on facilitating services,
facilities and procedures to ensure their integration into society.
Governance:
Develop APD’s work electronically to display legislation, policies and statistics of people with
disability and update it continuously. Development of systems to limit services provided to
people with disability in one place in order to make it easier for them to identify their rights. The
reason for focusing on the transformation of electronic services is to ensure that these services
are accessible from anywhere as well as to ensure continuous updating and development in the
future.
General Principles of the Sustainable Development Strategy in APD:
•
The quality of services provided to people with disability.
• Continuing to enhance cooperation among government entities to facilitate procedures.

• Quick delivery and saving time through harnessing technology tools at work and improving services.
